Participation in the diplomatic charity fair in Brazil

Brasilia, June 3, 2023 – The International Fair of National Cuisine and Culture charity event was held at the Museum of Modern Art of the Brazilian Capital with the participation of over 50 Embassies, which was held by the Association of Spouses of Heads of Diplomatic Missions Accredited in Brazil (GCCM).

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil also took part in this charitable project. At the stand of the Embassy, decorated with elements of national and traditional symbols, information materials about Kazakhstan, souvenirs, as well as Kazakh national dishes were displayed. Of particular interest to the visitors of the fair were national dishes and handmade souvenirs prepared by the spouses of the Embassy employees. The visitors of the Kazakhstan stand could enjoy the hospitality and variety of the Kazakh national cuisine.

Funds raised during the event will be donated to four charities in the Federal District currently supported by the GCCM: Casa Santo André, Instituto Recilando Sons, Instituto Trocar and Salve a Si.

Since March of this year, the President of the GCCM Association has been the spouse of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil, Gulnaziya Nussupova.

This year, Kazakhstan and Brazil are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
