Kazakhstan and Uruguay develop cooperation

Brasilia, March 10, 2023 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov had an online meeting with Senator of the Chamber of Senators of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay Marcos Methol.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the status of the implementation of the agreements reached during the bilateral meeting in Montevideo in March last year, as well as issues of expanding trade, economic and academic cooperation between the two countries.

Following the results of the negotiations in the light of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year, the parties expressed their readiness to work out the issue of opening the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in Uruguay, as well as to hold relevant events on the occasion of this significant event.
