Issues of trade and economic cooperation were discussed

Brasilia, February 1, 2023 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov received a delegation of the Brazilian Beef Exporters Association (ABIEC) headed by its President Antonio Jorge Camardelli.

During the conversation, the guests got acquainted with the possibilities of non-commodity exports of Kazakhstan, which can be widely demanded in the Brazilian market, as well as the favorable investment climate in the country. The parties discussed the possibility of direct supplies of Brazilian beef to Kazakhstan and the creation of a joint venture in Kazakhstan to process it. The Ambassador invited the leadership of the Association to take part in the second meeting of the Kazakhstan-Brazil Business Council in Astana in April this year.

In turn, the head of the Association highly appreciated the existing potential for cooperation and the strategic location of Kazakhstan as the most important hub for Brazilian products to enter the largest markets.

For reference: The Brazilian Association of Beef Exporters ABIEC was founded in 1979. Its main objectives are to protect the interests of the beef export sector at the national and international levels, to comply with sanitary requirements, to participate in processes to reduce tariff and non-tariff trade barriers, and to promote the export of Brazilian beef to international markets.
