The first lesson of the Kazakh language and the study of Kazakhstan in Brazil

Brasilia, September 1, 2022 – at the Center for Asian Studies of the Federal University of Fluminense (Rio de Janeiro), an online course of the Kazakh language and the study of Kazakhstan called «Introduction to Kazakh culture and language» has been launched with the support of the Kazakhstan-Brazil Friendship Forum.

Classes will be held on a weekly basis under the lectures of Professor Edelcio Américo. On the first day, more than 15 students from different parts of Brazil took part in the lesson and were able to learn more about Kazakhstan and the course program.

The courses held as part of the implementation of the Memorandum signed between the Center for Asian Studies of the Federal University of Fluminense and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil dated June 24, 2022.
