The Ambassador of Kazakhstan held a meeting with the President of the Planetary Union of Brazil

Brasilia, August 24, 2022 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov held an online meeting with the President of the Planetary Union Isis Maria Borges de Resende, during which the parties discussed her participation in the upcoming VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions on September 14-15 this year in Nur-Sultan.

During the conversation, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan acquainted the interlocutor with the ongoing reforms in the country, the foreign policy priorities of Kazakhstan, as well as the policy of the country's leadership to ensure interethnic and interfaith harmony. The parties also discussed the agenda and main topics of the upcoming event.

The President of the Brazilian Planetary Union, in turn, thanked the organizers for the official invitation and noted that holding the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in the capital of Kazakhstan strengthens mutual understanding and respect between all religious communities and ensures peace and harmony on our planet. In 2019, the founder of the Planetary Union, a prominent political figure in Brazil, Ulisses Riedel, took part in the work of the VI Congress.
