Raizen is invited to cooperate with Kazakhstan

Sao Paulo, August 16, 2022 – as part of a working visit to Sao Paulo, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil, Bolat Nussupov met with the management of «Raizen».

The Brazilian side was acquainted with the current investment climate in Kazakhstan, measures of state support and protection of foreign investors, especially in the agricultural sector. The parties also discussed in detail the possibilities of exporting Brazilian sugar and raw materials to Kazakhstan, as well as the prospects for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of agriculture and fertilizer production.

The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Kazakh сompany «Demeu Group», which arrived in Brazil to negotiate with Brazilian companies to establish long-term cooperation.

«Raízen», a joint venture of the Brazilian-Dutch conglomerate «Cosan SA», is the second largest fuel sales company in Brazil, the fourth largest in terms of revenue and the fifth largest in the country. The company produces 2.5 billion liters of ethanol and 6.5 million tons of sugar and raw materials. The number of employees is 69.000.
