The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil paid a courtesy visited to the UN House

Brasilia, July 6, 2022 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov visited the UN Office in Brazil and met with Resident Coordinator Silvia Rucks.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan spoke about the activities of Kazakhstan within the framework of the UN, in particular, about the international initiatives of our country and sustainable development programs. The Kazakh diplomat noted that this year Kazakhstan is celebrating the 30th anniversary of joining the UN, and spoke about the contribution of our country in the field of multilateral diplomacy over the years of its membership.

In turn, Silvia Rucks introduced the structure and activities of the UN office in Brazil, which includes 25 organizations based in the capital, as well as in other Brazilian cities – Rio de Janeiro and Salvador.

The parties agreed to maintain contacts and consider the possibility of organizing joint presentation events through UN programs of mutual interest.
