Kazakh athletes at the Deaflympics

Caxias do Sul, May 13, 2022 – The Kazakhstan national team won the second gold at the Deaflympics in Brazil.

This time Farkhad Kystaubaev excelled, taking 1st place in the decathlon, confidently outperforming his rivals in a number of disciplines. The winner's coach is Folenweider Stanislav.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil, Bolat Nussupov, congratulated the winner on another gold medal and presented him with a memorable gift - the "Brazilian Jaguar", personifying strength, courage and dexterity.

As of today, the Kazakhstan national team has 2 gold, 4 silver and 17 bronze medals.

The official closing of the Games will take place on Sunday 15 May.
