The potential for economic cooperation was discussed in a large region of Brazil

Curitiba, April 25, 2022 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bolat Nussupov, during his working visit to the Brazilian state of Parana, met with the President of the State Federation of Industry (FIEP) Carlos Walter Martins Pedro.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan spoke about the measures of state support and protection of foreign investors in Kazakhstan and, taking into account the developed industry and agriculture of the Brazilian region, highlighted the potential of Kazakhstan in the field of industry and the development of the agro-industrial complex. In addition, the Ambassador invited the business circles of the state of Parana to establish business contacts with Kazakh enterprises within the framework of mutual business missions.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the possibilities and ways to increase trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Brazil by diversifying the range of mutual trade, in particular with the state of Parana.

In general, in order to strengthen economic ties and increase bilateral trade between Kazakhstan and Brazil, the Ambassador called on companies from the state of Parana to participate in the work of the Kazakhstan-Brazil Business Committee, co-chaired by Qazindustry and CNI, which was established last year and is the head body of the Federation.

The Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná (Fiep) has been working since 1944 for the sustainable industrial development of the region, coordinating, protecting, legally representing and defending the interests of various industrial segments in the public and private sectors.
