Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Brazilian regions is expanding

Foz do Iguaçu, April 23, 2022 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bolat Nussupov, during his working visit to the Brazilian state of Parana, met with Eduardo Castanheiro Garrido Alves, General Director of PTI Technology Park Foz do Iguaçu.

The parties discussed possible promising areas of cooperation, including energy, technology, tourism and the development of renewable energy sources.

Foz do Iguaçu is a city in the Brazilian state of Parana at the border crossing with Argentina and Paraguay. The basis of the economy of Foz do Iguaçu is tourism (National Park and Iguaçu Falls), the Itaipu hydroelectric power plant and free trade with Paraguay and Argentina within the framework of the Three Frontiers Free Economic Zone (Três Fronteiras).
