Ambassador of Kazakhstan Bolat Nussupov met in Ambassadors of Ecuador, Chile and Uruguay

Brasilia, December 3, 2021 - In order to establish friendly contacts with the diplomatic missions of South American countries accredited in Brazil, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov held bilateral meetings with the Ambassadors of Ecuador - Carlos Alberto Velastegui, Chile - Fernando Schmidt and Uruguay - Guillermo Valles Galmes. During these meetings, topical aspects of political dialogue, trade and economic relations and cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and the above-mentioned states of the region were discussed. The parties noted successful interaction in a multilateral format, as well as mutual interest in diversifying bilateral cooperation, organizing mutual visits of business circles of their countries, as well as holding joint economic events next year. An agreement was reached to maintain constant working contact at the level of diplomatic missions.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil is the only diplomatic mission of our country in the South American region and is also officially accredited in Argentina and Chile. At the same time, the area of ​​responsibility and competence of our Embassy also includes cooperation with countries such as Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay and Ecuador. Honorary consulates of Kazakhstan are currently operating in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay and Peru.
