Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov met with the Minister of Education of Brazil

Brasilia, August 9, 2021 – The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Federative Republic of Brazil Bolat Nussupov met with the Minister of Education of the Federative Republic of Brazil Milton Ribeira.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current status of cooperation in education and science between Kazakhstan and Brazil and expressed the interest in expanding in close cooperation between universities of both countries for student exchange.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to form a regulatory framework proposed to initiate the signing of an Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in Education and Science. This document will be the basis and platform for joint projects and exchange of experience.

In turn, the Minister of Education expressed readiness to consider the said Intergovernmental Agreement, the signing of which will provide an opportunity for further deepening of relations between our countries.

The parties spoke in favor of continuing the dialogue and organizing a video conference with the participation of interested authorities to discuss issues in the implementation of the agreements reached.
