Kazakhstan highly appreciates the development of relations with Brazil in the field of culture

Brasilia, June 16, 2021 - as part of the events on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a video conference was held, during which the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov conveyed Letters of GratitudeCristovam Buarque for his contribution to the celebration of the 175th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet and thinker Abai, as well as Professor Andre Leclerc for assistance in organizing a seminar dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of the famous philosopher Al-Farabi.

During the virtual meeting, the Ambassador thanked the interlocutors for their cooperation, support for Kazakhstan's initiatives and interest in Kazakh culture and history. The diplomat stressed the importance of their contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation.

In turn, the guests of the event noted that they were delighted with the work of Kazakh authors and the philosophy of the Kazakh people, and also expressed their readiness to develop cultural and humanitarian cooperation and strengthen friendly relations between the two countries.
