Brazilian company "WEG" is interested in expanding its presence in the Kazakhstan market

Brasilia, April 13, 2021 - Bolat Nussupov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil, held online talks with Daniel Godinho, Institutional Relations and Marketing Director of WEG, a leading Brazilian company in the field of industrial electrical equipment.

According to the presented presentation, in February 2020, the company opened a representative office in Almaty, on the basis of which it plans to launch a service hub and a plant for the production of electrical equipment in the future.

During the conversation, the Ambassador, taking into account the technological advantages of the company, acquainted its management with the investment and export opportunities available in Kazakhstan for expanding operational activities both in the Kazakhstan market and in the region as a whole.

In turn, the Institutional Relations and Marketing Director of WEG, highly appreciating the current level of interaction of the company with government bodies and the private sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan, said that the company is considering the possibility of establishing in Kazakhstan the production of high-tech equipment in the energy and mining industry with further provision of service support.
