Крупнейший бразильский штат Амазонас готов к торгово-экономическому сотрудничеству с Казахстаном

Brasilia, April 13, 2021 - Ambassador Bolat Nussupov held an online meeting with the Governor of the largest Brazilian state of Amazonas, Wilson Lima.

During the meeting, the Ambassador acquainted the head of the Brazilian state with the main achievements of Kazakhstan over 30 years of independence and the political and economic reforms being carried out in the country, designed to ensure Kazakhstan's entry into the OECD and the number of 30 developed countries of the world.

The diplomat, informing about the current status of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Brazil, focused on three priorities of interaction - trade, mining and agro-industrial complex, taking into account the characteristics of this Brazilian region.

In turn, the Governor, having highly appreciated the prospects for building up bilateral cooperation, expressed hope for the development of interregional ties with the participation of leading companies in the state of Amazonas. The exchange of experience in environmental protection, tourism development and cooperation within the framework of the FEZ in Manaus is also of mutual interest.
