Poems of Kazakh poet Jambyl Jabayev were sounded in Latin America

Brasilia, March 19, 2021 - on the eve of the Nauryz holiday, the Embassies Kazakhstan to Brazil and Mexico organized a video conference on the occasion of the 175th anniversary of the Kazakh poet Jambyl Jabayev in Portuguese and Spanish.

The event was attended by representatives of the best Latin American universities - professor of the Center for Foreign Languages ​​at the Federal University of Fluminense (Brazil), philologist Edelsio Americo, professor of the National Autonomous University (Mexico) Dora Gonzalez, Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Argentina Gustavo Guttieres, head of the Cultural Center of Kazakhstan in the Argentinian city of Rosario Irina Vagner, friends of Kazakhstan and Kazakhstanis citizens in Latin America.

During the conference, the guests were introduced with the biography and works of Jambyl Jabayev. Poems of the poet in the Kazakh language were also presented by diplomats to their attention.
