On the completion of negotiations on an intergovernmental memorandum

Bern, May 22, 2024 - Negotiations were held via video conference with the support of the Embassy between the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Federal Office of Justice of Switzerland on the draft of an intergovernmental Memorandum of Understanding on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters.

As a result of the negotiations, the text of the Memorandum, providing for a significant expansion of cooperation of cooperation in the field of mutual legal assistance, including on the return of illegally transferred assets, was agreed.
