Nauryz was celebrated in Bern

Bern, March 30 – The Embassy of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh-Swiss association "Birlik", uniting the Kazakh diaspora and compatriots throughout Switzerland, celebrated Nauryz holiday in Bern.

In his welcoming speech, Ambassador Kairat Sarzhanov congratulated the guests and introduced the new format of the Nauryznama celebration. Every day of this concept is dedicated to certain values of the Kazakh people, reflecting their cultural heritage. In addition, the Ambassador informed about the initiatives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K.Tokayev, announced at the third meeting of the National Kurultai.

Within the framework of the event program, representatives of the Kazakh diaspora and compatriots performed Kazakh national songs, kuis, dances, held the ceremony "Tusau Keser", and also organized a festive dastarkhan of Kazakh national dishes.
