The Ambassador of Kazakhstan paid an official visit to the canton of Zurich

During the conversation with the leadership of the canton, the parties noted the progressive development of Kazakh-Swiss cooperation, discussed the prospects for interregional cooperation and agreed to consider establishing contacts between the canton of Zurich and the Almaty region, which would contribute to the expansion of bilateral ties and cultural exchange between the peoples of the two countries. The Ambassador also expressed interest in organizing cultural events with the participation of the Kazakh diaspora in Zurich.

At a meeting with the head of the association of entrepreneurs of the largest economic and financial center of Switzerland, Ambassador outlined current issues on the economic agenda, brought to the attention of the interlocutor information about the priorities of the Kazakh economy, transit potential, market advantages and measures to support foreign investors. Raphaël Tschanz expressed his readiness for cooperation, including the wide dissemination of information about Kazakhstan and investment projects among the 1,100 member companies of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
