Embassy of Kazakhstan in Switzerland organized a video conference with citizens of Kazakhstan

Bern, March 30, 2020. The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Switzerland organized a videoconference using the Zoom service with Kazakhstanis living permanently or temporarily in Switzerland on a coronavirus pandemic.

During the videoconference, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Alibek Bakayev informed the participants about the situation in Switzerland and Kazakhstan, as well as the measures taken by the leadership of both countries to counter the coronavirus pandemic. Particular attention was paid to the work of the Embassy during the indicated period and to the support measures provided to our citizens.

During the Q&A session, the participants were interested in the issues of departure from Switzerland to Kazakhstan, measures in the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding people arriving from Switzerland, extension of expiring visas, saving rooms on campuses of universities of the host country, etc.

The Embassy plans to hold such meetings in the future as well.
