Twenty-six Kazakh citizens returned to Kazakhstan from Switzerland

Since the declaration of the emergency state in Switzerland on March 16, 2020, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Bern has provided assistance to get home via Moscow, Istanbul and Minsk for 26 of our citizens, including 18 Kazakh students.

At the moment, the only corridor for the return of our citizens from Switzerland to Kazakhstan remains Minsk. However, the issue of the renewal in April of the flight Zurich - Warsaw - Nur-Sultan is considered by Polish airlines.

The majority of citizens of Kazakhstan preferred to stay in Switzerland due to the risk of infection during the flights.

The Embassy is in constant contact with the citizens of Kazakhstan. On the Embassy’s website, social media resources and in Telegram channel citizens receive actual information about taken in Kazakhstan and Switzerland measures on the coronavirus pandemic.
