Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Switzerland held a round table with Kazakh diaspora

The Embassy held a round table with participation of Kazakh students, citizens of Kazakhstan and representatives of the Kazakh diaspora living in the cantons of Zurich, Lucerne, Vaud and Valais on an ongoing basis.

During the event, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Switzerland Mr Alibek Bakaev made a report on the implementation of the Address of the Leader of the Nation Mr Nursultan Nazarbayev “Growing Welfare of Kazakhstan People: Raising the Income and Quality of Life” dated October 5, 2018 and the Address by President Mr Kassym-Jomart Tokayev “Constructive Public Dialogue - the Basis of Stability and Prosperity of Kazakhstan” dated September 2, 2019, the state and prospects of the Kazakh-Swiss cooperation, as well as on measures taken to protect the rights and interests of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the activities of the "Otandastar" Foundation.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the schedule of upcoming joint cultural and sports events.
