"Run for Kazakhstan"

The Kazakh-Swiss Association "Birlik", with the support of the The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Switzerland, held a "Run for Kazakhstan" among the diaspora, dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence, in Kloten (a suburb of Zurich). Kazakh Ambassador Alibek Bakayev, the "Birlik" leadership, and compatriots from all over Switzerland took part in the race. The marathon continued with the performance of Kazakh songs, playing national games: qanat tartu, asyk and others. The event took place in an atmosphere of unity and joy.
