Ambassador Karipov Meets with Ex-Mayor of Berlin's Pankow District

BERLIN, 6 January 2020 – Today Ambassador Dauren Karipov of Kazakhstan held a meeting with the ex-Mayor of Berlin's Pankow district Alex Lubowinski to discuss issues pertaining to cooperation in the cultural sphere. 

The Ambassador spoke with the German politician about jointly organizing celebratory events in Berlin to mark the 175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbayev and to commemorate the works of the great Kazakh poet and thinker. 

Moreover, they discussed the upcoming calendar of events on the Kazakh-German cultural agenda and voiced several proposals on stengthening working contacts.
