Ambassador of Kazakhstan Dauren Karipov Hosts Additional Videoconference with Kazakhstan’s Honorary Consuls in Germany

BERLIN, 24 September 2020 – Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Germany, Dauren Karipov, has hosted another web conference with the participation of Kazakhstan’s honorary consuls in Germany. Speaking at the meeting, he gave a briefing about the current epidemiological situation in Kazakhstan, government measures to mitigate the effects of the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, as well as efforts to prop up the economy and SMEs. Ambassador Karipov called upon the honorary consuls to increase their efforts in assisting Kazakh citizens who have found themselves stranded as a result of worldwide lockdowns.

The meeting was also devoted to discussing the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany, as well as the organization of joint meetings in the near future.
