The Lebanese company “CCC” is interested in participating in new projects in Kazakhstan

On May 29, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Lebanon Rasul Zhumaly met with the General Manager of the large Lebanese contracting company “CCC” Wajdi Maalouf. During the meeting, the prospects for relations between Kazakhstan and Lebanon were discussed, as well as issues of developing cooperation with the “CCC” company. W.Maalouf stated that “CCC” intends to continue implementing the investment project at the Tengiz field. He also said that the company's management is currently expressing interest in participating in other new projects in our country. In turn, Ambassador R.Zhumaly noted that the Embassy will provide all possible support to the new initiatives of the “CCC” company.

To give a new impetus to bilateral relations, the issue of organizing mutual visits of representatives of the business community, the media, and travel companies of the two countries was raised. “CCC” is ready to provide support for the implementation of these activities. During the conversation, attention was also paid to the issue of concluding important bilateral documents, such as agreements on the promotion and mutual protection of investments, and on the avoidance of double taxation. These topics were further discussed at an online conference with Samir Al-Khouri, General Director of “CCC”.

For reference: The Lebanese company “CCC” has been operating in the Kazakhstan market since the early 2000s. Over the years, the company has participated in large projects, such as the development of the Tengiz field in the western region of Kazakhstan, and the construction of the Abu Dhabi Plaza multifunctional complex in Astana.
