New horizons for investment cooperation

On May 27, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Beirut, Rasul Jumaly, met with the head of the Lebanese Investment Promotion Center, Mazen Sueid. The goal is to develop mutual trade, economic, and business ties, including investment ones. It should be noted that during the previous period there were many achievements in this area. For example, the volume of direct investments attracted from Lebanon to the Kazakhstan market today exceeds $100 million. During the conversation, it was noted that the huge potential of the two countries makes it possible to increase this indicator manifold. For this, providing incentives from the competent institutions of Kazakhstan and Lebanon is of particular importance. Such a task includes providing benefits to investors, exchanging experience, participating in economic and investment forums held in both countries. In order to systematically support these issues, Rasul Jumaly and Mazen Sueid discussed the possibility of developing and concluding a memorandum in the field of investments.
