Kazakhstan and Lebanon intend to introduce visa privileges

On July 20, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Lebanon Rasul Jumaly met with the General Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country Hani Shmaitilli. During the conversation, the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation were discussed. This year marks 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Lebanon. Many positive results were achieved during this period. In order to give an additional impetus to this process, a large-scale investment forum dedicated to Kazakhstan was recently organized in Beirut, and in the near future consultations between the foreign offices of both countries, signing of an agreement on visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic and service passports are expected. At the same time, there are other steps on the agenda to stimulate mutually beneficial economic and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and Lebanon.
