Charity event held in Lebanon

On June 7, a large-scale charity event was held in Lebanon, in which the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Beirut took an active part. The event under title "International Food Festival" was organized by the Association of Diplomatic Spouses in this Arab country. Numerous local guests were offered national dishes from more than 50 countries of all over the world. In addition to the educational aspect, the festival was important in terms of showing kindness and caring for others. In particular, all the funds raised within its framework were transferred to non-governmental organizations providing humanitarian assistance and citizens in need. Taking into account that the country of Lebanon has been going through an acute socio-economic crisis in recent years and is receiving hundreds of thousands of refugees from war-torn Syria and Palestine, this is of particular importance. At the same time, the generous Kazakh presentation of foods were appreciated with cordiality and great gratitude by all participants of the event.
