On November 8, an extended press conference for representatives of the leading Lebanese media was held at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Beirut. During the meeting, Ambassador Rasul Zhumaly spoke about the political and economic situation in Kazakhstan, as well as in Central Asia and the CIS. The reforms that have been taking place in Kazakhstan in recent years, including the upcoming presidential elections, have been highlighted. This process is intended to become one of the decisive steps in the construction of a democratic society, in which priority is given to justice. Local journalists showed that they are well-informed on current issues, so the exchange of opinions turned out to be informative. Of course, among the discussed topics, special attention was paid to Kazakhstan's relations with the Arab world and their prospects. At the same time, noting the importance of mass media in the promotion of mutually beneficial cooperation, an agreement was reached to hold such meetings more often.
