The 30th Anniversary of Kazakhstan-Iran diplomatic relations was marked in Gorgan

On 2 October 2022 the city of Gorgan (the administrative center of Iranian Golestan Province) hosted an official meeting and a photo exhibition on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

   The event was held with participation of the Governor of the Golestan Province Ali Mohammad Zanganeh, the Representative of the Iranian Foreign Office in Golestan Province Zulfaghar Amirshahi, the Chairman of the Golestan Chamber of Commerce M. Chupani, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Iran Askhat Orazbay, representatives of Golestan business circles as well as members of the Kazakh Diaspora.

   At the official part of the event the Ambassador Askhat Orazbay in his address underlined that in 30 years of the diplomatic relations mutually beneficial cooperation was developed with high dynamics.

   The Governor of Golestan Province Ali Mohammad Zanganeh in his speech stated Iran’s will to strengthen relations with Kazakhstan based on friendship and mutual trust. He also agreed on the need for reinforcing the bilateral links through the joint development of Incheborun Station and Caspian ports.

    The exhibition displayed photos demonstrating main stages of the establishment and development of the Kazakhstan-Iran relations.

    In the framework of the exhibition the Ambassador Orazbay held meetings with the provincial and city’s leadership as well as with core groups of the Kazakh Diaspora and the Golestan business.
