Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with the Special Representative of the President of Iran for Afghanistan

On March 9, 2022, Kazakhstan Ambassador to Iran Askhat Orazbay met with the Special Representative of the President of Iran for Afghanistan Hassan Kazemi Qumi.

At the meeting were discussed the creation of a working group on discussing the political, economic, and security situation in Afghanistan, as well as the development of a plan to respond to new challenges and threats.

In addition, the parties identified the coordinators of the working group of Kazakhstan and Iran on Afghanistan and agreed to organize their online meetings in the near future.
