Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for International Cooperation and Afghanistan E.Kazykhan and Special Representative of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Afghanistan H.Kazemi Qumi held a meeting.

Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for International Cooperation and Afghanistan E.Kazykhan and Special Representative of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Afghanistan H.Kazemi Qumi held a meeting in the format of a video conference.

E.Kazykhan and H.Kazemi Qumi stressed that from the point of view of creating security and stability in the region, the settlement of the Afghan issue is relevant for the whole world, especially for Kazakhstan and Iran, so the countries of the region need to unite in this direction.

The special representatives of the presidents of the two countries noted that the positions of Kazakhstan and Iran on the issue of creating a national inclusive government to form a secure Afghanistan, which includes representatives of all ethnic groups of the country, are similar.

They also expressed hope for the next meeting to discuss the Afghan problem.
