The heads of state discussed the current state of bilateral relations and their prospects during the conversation held on the initiative of the Iranian side.

The Presidents noted that in the 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, notable successes have been achieved in various areas of cooperation. At the same time, the leaders of Kazakhstan and Iran consider it necessary to step up efforts to further strengthen ties in trade, economic and other areas of interaction.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked Ibrahim Raisi and the Iranian people for their sympathy in connection with the events of "tragic January".

The head of state said that the situation in our country has stabilized, and measures have been taken to implement a new strategy for socio-economic transformations. According to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the people of Kazakhstan look to the future with confidence.
