On June 22, 2021, a meeting was held with Mr.Abdolrasul Daryai, Head of the Fisheries Department of the Hormozgan Province of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The meeting was attended by President of the Aquatics Production and Export Union Mr.Mehrdad Bazargan, Deputy Head of Fisheries and Fishing Ports department Mr.Ebrahim Alizadeh, Head of the Aquatics Farm Department Mr.Masoud Barani, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Fisheries Mr.Mostafa Zabria, Head of Fisheries Industry and Market Development Monitoring Group Mr.Hamid Amanizade, and Ms.Samira Asadi, Economic Relations Officer of the representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Hormozgan Province.

During the meeting, the sides discussed economic opportunities between the regions of the two countries, including seafood, logistics, investment and export.

The potential of the two countries for the cultivation, production and export of seafood, including fish, shrimp, anchovies, sardines, sturgeon and other aquatics productions (canned, smoked, dried, whole and in parts) was discussed. At the same time, opportunities for exchange of experience between fisheries specialists (technical specialists and scientific staff) of the two countries were considered.

The sides also discussed the organizing of the visiting of the Governor of Hormozgan province to Mangistau region this year.
