About the phone conversation between the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and Northern Macedonia

Margulan Baimukhan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, had a telephone conversation with Andrei Zhernovsky, Deputy Foreign Minister of Northern Macedonia.

The parties exchanged congratulations on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Northern Macedonia.

Special attention was paid to the trade and economic sphere. In particular, the two sides expressed confidence that the forthcoming establishment of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation will give a new impetus to deepening business and investment ties.

A separate topic was the discussion of measures taken by the governments of Kazakhstan and Northern Macedonia to counter the spread of coronavirus.

At the end of the conversation the diplomats reaffirmed their commitment to the course of further strengthening the bonds of friendship and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
