About the meeting of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan with the Hyakim of Lebap velayat

Turkmenabad, November 23, 2023 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan Askar Tazhibayev paid a working visit to Lebap velayat.

During the meeting with the Hyakim of the Lebap velayat, Shokhrat Amangeldyev, issues of developing trade, economic, historical, cultural and tourism ties between the Lebap velayat and the regions of Kazakhstan were discussed. The head of the velayat informed about the current economic potential of the region, the activities of manufacturing and agricultural enterprises.

Attention was paid to promising areas of cooperation in the fields of transport, agriculture, education, as well as interaction in the cultural and humanitarian field.

Following the meeting, the parties considered the possibility of establishing sister-city relations between the Lebap velayat and the regions of Kazakhstan.
