To participants of the XII International Festival "Atameken" of young performers of works by Y.Khassangaliyev

On October 5-6, 2022, in the city of Uralsk, West Kazakhstan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it is planned to hold the XII International Festival "Atameken" of young performers of the works of the People's Artist, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, singer and composer Yeskendir Khassangaliyev.

The Atameken International Festival is held in order to popularize and promote the songs of the composer Y.Khassangaliyev, promote talented youth on the musical Olympus, expand interethnic cultural ties and enhance cooperation with colleagues from near and far abroad.

The participation of young performers will make it possible to establish new international contacts between creative individuals and teams.

Young performers from Turkmenistan are invited to participate.

on holding the XII-International Festival "Atameken" of song performers of the People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the state prize Yeskendir Khassangaliyev

 

         The name of the People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yeskendir Khassangaliyev is a symbol of the musical art of our country. With his songs, more than one generation of Kazakhstanis was born and grew up. His famous song "Atameken" can be called a hymn of love for the native land. And it is quite natural that this holy name "Atameken" bears the International Song Festival, which will be held in its homeland for the twelfth time.

Previous festivals have confirmed again and again that true art is timeless and today's youth worthily continues the baton, developing the traditions laid down by our predecessors.

         The creativity of Y.Khassangaliyev is characterized by a variety of topics, diversity in the presentation of material; he wrote music to the verses of Kazakh, Russian, Uighur, Tatar, German poets.

         XII festival "Atameken", with the support of the West Kazakhstan regional Akimat and the regional department of culture, will be held on October 5-6, 2022 in Uralsk.

 Organization of the Competition

         Coordination of all activities related to the preparation and holding of the Competition, its creative, organizational and technical aspects, is entrusted to the State Enterprise "Regional Center of Folk Art of the West Kazakhstan Region".

          The Organizers create financial, logistical, informational, legal and other support for the activities carried out within the framework of the Competition.

 Objectives of the Competition

- popularization and propaganda of Y.Khassangaliyev's songs;

-expansion of interethnic cultural ties;

- activation of cooperation with foreign partners;

- identification of new names and assistance to young talented performers in their development;

- further development of the pop vocal genre, raising the artistic level of the repertoire and performing skills of the participants

 Conditions of the competition

Young talented professional performers aged 17 to 32 are invited to participate in the competition.

The competition is held in the nomination: Pop vocal

Performers who have recommendations from state cultural institutions, production centers, music studios, television and radio companies, directorates of music competitions and festivals, as well as independent performers are allowed to participate in the competition. Participants of the competition present 2 two songs of Y.Khassangaliyev (in Kazakh or translation in any language).

The sequence of performances of the participants is determined by a draw. All works are performed accompanied by the phonogram "-1".

The performances of the contestants are evaluated by a professional jury. The decision of the jury is drawn up in the minutes, is the final revision is not subject to. The jury has the right to award not all the prizes, to divide the prizes between the participants.

The organizers of the festival reserve the right to include the brightest and most talented performances of the participants in the Gala Concert.

Rewarding

Participants of the Competition are awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts. The winners of the competition are awarded the following titles:

• Laureate of the 1st degree;

• Laureate of II degree;

• Laureate of III degree;

• Diploma of the Competition

Additional Information

• The organizing committee of the festival reserves the right to make changes to the time of the event.

• Expenses for travel of participants are borne by the sending party, expenses for food, accommodation of participants - at the expense of the organizers of the festival.

• All expenses of leaders, accompanists and parents are covered by the sending party.
