Organization of Turkic States and Turkmenistan discussed the participation of observers in the presidential elections

Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Baghdad Amreyev and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in an online format.

The head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry stressed the need for further expansion of cooperation between the countries of the organization in various fields. The interest of Turkmenistan in partnership with a number of structures of the Organization of Turkic States was noted.

The diplomats paid special attention to the issue of sending a mission of observers of the Organization of Turkic States to participate in monitoring the preparation and conduct of the elections of the President of Turkmenistan, which will be held on March 12, 2022.
