Telephone conversation of the Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan

Nur-Sultan, July 2, 2021 – The Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi had a telephone conversation with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.

The parties discussed topical issues of further strengthening the Kazakh-Turkmen cooperation in the spirit of strategic partnership, as well as the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest and high levels.

In this context, special attention was paid to the schedule of international events, including the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the VI Caspian Summit. Issues of interaction within the framework of international and regional organizations such as CICA and CCTS were considered.
