Ambassador of Kazakhstan took part in the presentation of the book of the President of Turkmenistan "White City Ashgabat"

ASHGABAT, May 22, 2021 – The official presentation of the book of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "White City of Ashgabat" in Russian was held today at the Institute of International Relations. The book of the head of state is dedicated to the 140^th Anniversary of Ashgabat that is to be celebrated on May 25.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Ashgabat, rectors of the state universities, students of the Institute.

In his speech, R.Meredov spoke about the history of the ancient city, its achievements, significance and role in the modern foreign policy of Turkmenistan. In the person of the Ambassadors of foreign states, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan also thanked the sister cities of Ashgabat, which always provide support and are committed to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields. Among them are such cities as Nur-Sultan, Tashkent, Bishkek, Dushanbe, Ankara, Kiev, Albuquerque and others.

On the sidelines of the presentation, in his congratulatory interview for Turkmen media, Ambassador Y.Sapiev congratulated the people of Turkmenistan and residents of the capital on the upcoming Anniversary of Ashgabat and wished the brotherly people strong health, well-being and prosperity.
