Meeting with the Hyakim of the Balkan velayat

ASHGABAT, April 36 2021 – Today the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerkebulan Sapiyev held a meeting with the Hyakim of the Balkan velayat of Turkmenistan Tanryguly Atahalliyev in the format of a video conference.

The issues of further development of interregional interaction, trade and economic cooperation, expansion of the range of supplied goods between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, as well as building up the transport and transit potential of the two countries were discussed.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on holding an online meeting of the leadership of the Mangistau region and the Balkan velayat in the near future, signing a Road Map for cooperation between the regions, as well as an Agreement on cooperation in organizing linear container traffic between the ports of Aktau and Turkmenbashi.
