Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan intend to increase the volume of bilateral trade

ASHGABAT, October 28, 2020 – Today Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerkebulan Sapiev took part in a video conference organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Mangystau region.

During the event parties discussed the increasing the volume of bilateral trade. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin to Ashgabat in September 2020. The prospects of opening a border trade zone between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan were particularly noted.
