Cultural Cooperation of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan and the Akimat of Mangistau Region in the Balkan Velayat of Turkmenistan

On November 19–20, 2025, in the Balkan Velayat of Turkmenistan, a series of cultural events was successfully held under the 2025 Cooperation Plan between the Akimat of Mangistau Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Akimat of Balkan Velayat of Turkmenistan in the areas of trade-economic, scientific-technical, and cultural cooperation. According to the plan, representatives of cultural institutions of Mangistau Region made a working visit to the cities of Balkanabat and Turkmenbashi.

During the visit, the Kazakh delegation held meetings with Turkmen partners aimed at strengthening cultural ties. The parties discussed opportunities for joint concert programs, tours of creative teams, exhibition projects, and other cultural initiatives. The events facilitated the exchange of experience between creative organizations of both regions and the implementation of new cultural projects.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan, Nurlan Asqaruly Nogaev, directly participated in the preparation and organization of these events, ensuring the effectiveness of negotiations and strengthening bilateral cultural cooperation.

The events contributed to further strengthening the traditional friendship and good-neighbor relations between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan and opened new opportunities for the development of interregional cultural partnership.
