Turkic countries are interested in expanding cooperation in the parliamentary sphere

Ankara, February 18, 2025 - Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aigul Kuspan took part in the work of the 2^nd meeting of Heads of committees on Foreign affairs of Turkic countries, held in Istanbul.

During the meeting issues of the international agenda, ways of further development of inter-parliamentary cooperation were discussed. The importance and effectiveness of such meetings were emphasized and readiness to continue cooperation on a regular basis was confirmed in order to further strengthen cooperation across the whole spectrum of inter-parliamentary cooperation.

As a result of the meeting a Joint Statement was adopted.
