Kazakhstan and Türkiye are expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation

Ankara, February 14, 2025 – A delegation of the Kazakhstan-Türkiye Friendship Group of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by the Chairman of the Committee on Economic Reform and Regional Development Nurtay Sabilyanov, visited Ankara.

During the visit, the delegation held a meeting with the Türkiye-Kazakhstan Friendship Group of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Türkiye, headed by the Chairman Mehmet Ali Cevheri, as well as the Chairman of the International Affairs Commission of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Türkiye, former Vice President Fuat Oktay.

The parties discussed current issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation, noted the positive dynamics of interaction in the spirit of expanded strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Türkiye.

They emphasized the importance and effectiveness of holding such meetings and confirmed their readiness to continue interaction on a regular basis in order to further strengthen cooperation across the entire spectrum of interparliamentary cooperation.
