Reforms in Kazakhstan in the center of attention of Turkish intellectuals

Ankara, November 20, 2024 - Ambassador Yerkebulan Sapiyev met with intellectuals and media representatives of Türkiye.

During the meeting, along with the Address of the President of Kazakhstan, the relations between Kazakhstan and Türkiye, the active role of our country in the international arena were discussed.

The Ambassador informed the participants about the reforms carried out in Kazakhstan in the field of human rights, taxes, politics, business, digitalization, medicine, agriculture, industrialization, transport and logistics. Within the framework of the “Born Bold” campaign the touristic potential of the country was presented, special attention was paid to investment opportunities. Also summarized the results of Kazakhstan's chairmanship of the OTG under the auspices of “TURKTIME”.

The intellectuals emphasized that Kazakhstan's foreign policy activity has determined the special role of the central powers in international relations. In their opinion, the basis for this could be events such as the Astana process, peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The participants also noted that this year Kazakhstan chaired 6 international organizations and became one of the active eras in its foreign policy. He also noted that decisions on the election of akims of villages and districts are a clear manifestation of the country's desire for democracy.
