Prospects for cooperation in digitalization, artificial intelligence and e-government discussed in Amman

Amman, 28-29 April 2025 – Kazakh delegation headed by the Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh.Madiev visited the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

During the visit negotiations were held with Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship of Jordan H.E. Mr. Sami Smeirat, Minister of Transport of Jordan H.E. Mrs. Wissam Al-Tahtamouni, Chief Commissioner and Director General of Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission of Jordan H.E. Mr. Haitham Misto, as well as heads of specialized companies and organizations of the Kingdom.

During the meetings, special attention was paid to the development of cooperation in the fields of digitalization, innovation, artificial intelligence, e-government and etc.

The Kazakh delegation got acquainted with Jordan's experience by visiting manufacturing companies, research centers and specialized educational institutions.

During the extensive negotiations and exchange of experience, the Jordanian side highly appreciated Kazakhstan's achievements in the field of digital transformation, development of e-government and introduction of artificial intelligence technologies.

As a result of the meetings, agreements were reached on further strengthening of cooperation, implementation of joint initiatives and exchange of experience in priority areas.
