At the Foreign Ministry of Jordan the issues of expanding the legal base of Kazakh-Jordanian relations were discussed

Amman, February 6, 2025 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan H.E. Mr. Talgat Shaldanbay met with the Director of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs of Jordan H.E. Mr. Amjad Al-Mubayden.

The key directions for expanding the legal base between Kazakhstan and Jordan were discussed during the talks. Special attention was paid to the possibilities of deepening bilateral cooperation, including cooperation within international organizations such as the United Nations, the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia.

The meeting also highlighted Jordan's important step of ratifying the IOFS Charter, which opens new perspectives for joint work on food security and other relevant issues.

Based on the discussion results, the parties expressed their intention to continue active cooperation on issues of mutual interest to strengthen ties between Kazakhstan and Jordan in the legal sphere and within the framework of international organizations.
