Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply of Jordan

Amman, August 4, 2024 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Talgat Shaldanbay met with the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply of Jordan Yusef Al Shamali.

The collocutors discussed intensifying cooperation in promising economic spheres such as pharmaceuticals, digitalization, agriculture, and energy. They also considered the possibility of collaboration in mining, phosphate, nitrogen, and potash fertilizer production.

Great emphasis was paid to preparing for the upcoming 5th Meeting of the Kazakhstan-Jordan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic and Cultural-Humanitarian Cooperation in Amman, which is being Co-Chaired by Yusef Al Shamali from the Jordanian side.

The issues of holding the next Business Council meeting between the two countries were also discussed.
